Odontophotopsis sp.

Hello everyone!

This page will be entirely dedicated to my research proposal. I’m going to work with Juanita on historical biogeography of velvet ants.

We will work on genus Odontophotopsis which contains 54 described species (44 are found in North America). It’s a monophyletic genus and it has a disjunct distribution among the North American deserts. We will perform The Brooks Parsimony Analysis (BPA) (Brooks et al. 2001) aiming to reconstruct the historical relationships among the areas of endemism inhabited by Odontophotopsis.
